- South Korea is beginning to play baseball...
South Korea has done as good a job as any country of containing coronavirus -- and now, baseball is being played there, with opening day slated for late April. At ESPN, a look inside how Korea is doing it, through the eyes of Americans playing ball there: https://t.co/Q8yeskkqmJ pic.twitter.com/QyGEs35vMg— Jeff Passan (@JeffPassan) April 6, 2020

Stuff to do:
- The European Speedrunners' Association is raising money to try to keep itself afloat with the increased costs of trying to put on events remotely for a week of speedruns from home: ESA Together.
- Down the road a bit: Lady Gaga is putting together a television "at-home concert" event for April 18th -- it will air on all three original major networks and include stars like Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, and many others. (USA Today)
- Baseball Digest has opened it's archives for free for the balance of the emergency.
- Olbermann:
It’s tonight’s twitter #Thurbercast with “My 10 Rules For A Happy Marriage,” “I Believe,” and the fable “Two Dogs.”— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) April 7, 2020

And more evidence of intentional governmental malfeasance:
- Here's a sailor's reaction to the Secretary of the Navy firing Capt. Brett Crozier:
Here is @SECNAV allegedly saying #CaptainCrozier is"too naïve or too stupid to command a ship,” and a sailors response upon hearing the SecNav. pic.twitter.com/DN1mExrXAc— Naveed Jamali (@NaveedAJamali) April 6, 2020
The Secretary of the Navy has just invited a mutiny aboard one of his ships. And there's part of me hoping he gets it.
- He has since (probably fake) apologized.
