C.J. Spillman of the Cowboys is under investigation for sexual assault.
What makes this important is that this is probably the player whose victim Gloria Allred is representing, sending a letter to Roger Goodell that a player (now known certainly to be Spillman) was allowed to rape someone on Saturday and play on Sunday (of Week 3).
The assault is alleged to take place at the Cowboys team hotel on September 20, the Saturday before Week 3.
All the information matches. The Cowboys played in St. Louis in Week 3, on Sunday.
