- Brock Lesnar got himself over with first again, pinning Omos after an F5.
- Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baesler, even with Ronda's broken arm, won the women's tag team "showcase.
- GUNTHER retained the Intercontinental Championship over Drew McIntyre and Shaemus.
- Bianca Belair pinned Asuka to retain the Raw Women's Championship.
- And then it got silly, and then stupid. Snoop Dogg came out with Miz, and they rehashed last night's embarrassment.
- Just when it looked like Miz and Dogg were gonna go at it, Dogg got Shane McMahon out of mothballs for an impromptu match...
- ... at which point, apparently Shane blew out every cruiciate ligament he could find in his knee, forcing Dogg to knock out Miz, do the stupidest People's Elbow in history, and pin Miz.
- Edge pinned Finn Balor in a Hell in a Cell match, probably also cut short due to blood streaming from Balor's head after a ladder spot gone awry.
But the two biggest stories may go under the radar:
- In the front row of plants, along with Cody Rhodes' wife Brandi, Dusty's wife and Cody's mother, and children was also Brodie Lee Jr. -- Negative One -- to the surprise of myself and many other AEW fans. Yes, Brodie Jr. did have many friends in WWE, including the Rhodes', but to be so prominently featured in their programming...
- But the biggest story of the weekend is just emerging Sunday afternoon. Pretty soon, it now appears that WWE and UFC will operate under the same parent. Endeavour, the company which bought UFC, is now emerging as final talks to own WWE! About the only other group which can get the Fuck Vince treatment as bad as the Saudis.
- And to basically seal that Vince is running the creative again, LOLROMANWINS -- Roman Reigns is still the undisputed champion, 939 days and counting on the Smackdown side...
- When you combine his other reigns, Roman has now been champion 1,057 days. Only four men have that number beaten in WWE.
- Roman now stands 535 days from Hulkamania I. That would be September 18, 2024.
