Fuck you, Bud Selig.
Fuck you, Donald Fehr.
I truly believe you have destroyed the great American sport of baseball, and we might've gotten one of the last indications tonight of that fact.
In Fenway Park (which will eventually host, this weekend, the second Sunday Night Baseball game between the two teams and the THIRD Yankee appearance on SNB -- in five Sundays!), Alex Rodriguez hit the game-winning home run in a 3-2 Yankees win over the Red Sox.
In just about a month, A-Roid/A-Fraud has hit six home runs, in a season where it clearly is feast or famine for him.
The problem for those of us who care: That puts him tied with third place on the legit home run list and tied for fourth overall with #660.
The next drama, obviously, is going to be a battle over $6,000,000 in bonus money the Yanks now owe Rodriguez for matching Willie Mays.
But the fact is that he's still got some degree of power. Probably on pace to hit about 35 or so, and that'd put him about a dozen short of 700.
