Hat-tip to my anonymous friend, as ESPN is at it again.
Tony Kornheiser is this time's right-wing shill, and his subject matter is even more alarming -- excusing the whole Josh Duggar sexual molestation thing.
If you need to understand why (on top of the disgust over such things to begin with) this whole Duggar thing might finally want to get this country to strongly reconsider it's freedom of religion, Gawker has a wonderful primer on just how scary their Quiverful movement actually is...
And what becomes absolutely frightening about the entire enterprise is that, when you view this whole situation in the eyes of such Dominionism, you see why the entire movement should be forcibly shut down, First Amendment be motherfucking damned: Even though the actual stand of Duggar's father/controller indicates incest should be punishable by death, we don't see him killing his son for what he's done.
Instead, he has types like Mike Huckabee, Scott Walker, and ESPN carrying water for him.
And when you see the types of "men" ESPN glorifies, you can see why ESPN is walking (running?) to the Dominionist right: If ESPN had a conscience regarding such things, they would not be covering the NFL, they would not be covering a United States sports machine in which a lot of the motor oil which lubricates it is the blood of wives and children beaten, molested, and abused in the name of not the Glory of God, but to the Glory of SportsMAN.
