And the fun continues from the Farce of the Century...

I swear, if they ever get to the bottom of this, they might have to disband the Nevada State Athletic Commission -- and that might well be the functional end of both boxing AND MMA in this country...
  • Floyd Mayweather is pretty much calling Pacquiao his bitch -- alternating between wanting a rematch, calling Pacquiao a coward and saying one will never happen, and saying Pacquiao can be on Mayweather's undercard.  Of course, that last one pretty much would be against a Money Team fighter, one would have to think.
  • The Nevada State Athletic Commission, on Tuesday, filed action against Pacquiao about the injury report.  Pacquiao, late this week, had surgery for significant ligament tears in his shoulder.  It appears a decision on that could take 30-60 days.  There is the possibility that criminal charges could result.
  • Last count of the number of lawsuits seeking class-action status appears to number at least six, with at least two in Nevada and one in California.
It is becoming clearer with each moment that this fight was tainted with the open participation of Pacquiao in the taint -- the only question now is whether the fight had to take place on May 2 because of Pacquiao's troubles with the IRS, or a perceived/known dislocative societal event coming before the fight could feasibly take place.

My money's still on the former, but the latter cannot be ruled out.
