It's Fight Night, and it's turning into an utter fucking fiasco.

Let's see:
  • Only two undercard bouts, and they appear to be mismatched showcases for two favorites.
  • One bit of controversy when at least two female reporters, Michelle Beadle of ESPN (who did SportsNation from the MGM pool the day before) and Rachel Nichols of CNN were thrown out of the media pool by Mayweather before the fight today.  Neither is watching the fight, and both are believed to be in retaliation for anti-domestic-violence comments made in previous fights.
  • Another when, according to Deadspin, ESPN's Michael Wilbon, asked about the fight while he was in Los Angeles for Game 7 between the Spurs and Clippers, doubled down on Mayweather, calling those of us exposing the pig for what he is "naive" and "wide-eyed".  I go back to my earlier comment:  Do we now have to accept domestic violence as part of the American sports landscape?
  • According to the Tumblr blog Yahoo! Sports is using to cover the fight, at least as of an hour or so before the fight, there was MAJOR pay-per-view problems with this fight on almost all providers.
Oh shit...
