But, to business first, her latest challenger has been getting under Rousey's skin.
It all started when Brazil's Beth Correia, in her undefeated run to this match, defeated two of Rousey's cohorts in the "Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse".
That was fine.
This is NOT.
Here are some of the latest trash-talks Correia has given the champion:
"I promise you. I will beat Ronda and I will only need two punches to knock her out. One to rip off her mole and the other to actually knock her out. You better believe it," said Correia.
and the one which might legitimately get Correia killed if she's not careful...
""I want to demoralize her, show the world she has no MMA game," Combate reported. "She doesn't have a good mindset, she needs to get help. There are a lot of people around her, because she is winning, when she realizes she is not all that, I don't even know what could happen. I hope she doesn't commit suicide.""
and
"I will give her a rematch if she doesn't cry too much," Bethe said as translated by Bloody Elbow's Lucas Rezende. "She can't take the pressure. I will give her the chance to get the belt back. Please, don't kill yourself, don't commit suicide, because I will give you the rematch."
Rousey's father committed suicide when Ronda was eight years old.
I'll let Ronda speak for herself:
@bethecorreia suicide is no joke or selling point. My father will be with me the day I hand you the comeuppance you deserve.
