- Didn't think that many points were scored this week, but they got to 632 for the 14 games, 45.14 per game.
- 4,924 points in 107 games. 46.01 is now the scoring average.
- 176 penalties this week. 12.5 per game only. Season: 1,659, 15.5 per game.
- Most penalties through seven weeks:
- To no one's material surprise, Green Bay retains the top spot. (7th seed in NFC) Their -20 penalty differential is also second-worst in the league.
- Cleveland is second. (3rd seed in AFC)
- Baltimore is third. (#8 seed and out in the AFC), and they are the team with the worst differential, -25.
- Houston and the Jets are fourth and fifth.
- Least penalties through seven weeks:
- Indianapolis, on average, with only 5.2 penalties a game, 36 in 7 games.
- Minnesota has the fewest raw, with 34. (#1 seed in the NFC, last undefeated team in the league)
- Detroit is third-least. (#6 seed in the NFC)
- Kansas City is fourth-least. (#1 seed in the AFC) Even with only 41 penalties in six games, they have had 37 committed on them! Only Detroit has fewer, with 36.
- Pittsburgh is actually better on average, with only 42 in 7 games with no bye yet.
- Best differential? Tennessee, a tie between Las Vegas and Minnesota, and Dallas.
- Home teams were 5-8 this week. 51-49-1 for the season, 15-24-1 the last three weeks.
- In a marked departure from the season, seven of the 14 games this week finished outside one score. 66/107 games now have finished within one score.
- Four of the seven were non-competitive, never within one score in the fourth quarter. One of them that was "competitive" was quite bizarre. Cincinnati was 14-13 up on Baltimore to start the 4th. 35-13 at the end.
- And, with the lack of games within one score, many of the specialties were also rare this week.
- Only 3 games had Cliffhangers, and it was 5 total Cliffhanger events:
- Double in Cleveland. Tennessee tied with a field goal at 58 seconds, Cleveland wins it with a field goal at the gun.
- And Houston tied the Giants at home at :52, the game went to overtime, Houston went 3 and out and got the ball rammed down their throat in a minute and a half.
- 45 such scores in 25 games this year.
- And only 1 Last Chance Miss, marking the 39th game this year that a team missed a chance to feasibly tie or win in the last two minutes. And that was an onside-kick miss, which I do count, even as rarely as they are converted.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.

2026 Week Seven Score Report

Watch This Space: Sounds like Cam Skattebo wants to not be playing, for free or otherwise...
Skattebo, who already has one helmet fine this year already, was actually flagged for this helmet hit...
The different angles of Cam Skattebo running through this safety's face https://t.co/ovwyudfpQO
— Justin Penik (@JustinPenik) October 26, 2026
Why don't you SHUT THE FUCK UP AND STOP USING YOUR HELMET AS A GODDAMN BATTERING RAM?HEARTBREAKING: #GIANTS RB CAM SKATTEBO SAYS HE MAY BE PLAYING FOR FREE IF THE NFL KEEPS FINING HIM FOR HOW HE RUNS. “The NFL loves to post me when I do stuff like that but then also wants to take stuff from me” “Guess I’m going to play for free” Awful💔 https://t.co/iDFnqSrkn2

I find it hilarious...
- Saw a couple of Lions fans making reference to the Rodgers Hail Mary after the facemask in Detroit a number of years back. Forgetting two things: The replay clearly shows the hand getting inside the facemask for the 15, and then, if you want to talk about rigged games, please explain to me how the Packers receiver who caught the winning touchdown had about a four-yard halo in the endzone for same winning touchdown.
- If the Packers have gotten so many calls that it's time for the pile-on, you're probably not only saying this has always been a 5-12/5-11 team propped up by the officials, but...
- ... if the Packers got anything close to all the calls, then where's the Super Bowl the two years they got fucked by Seattle, starting with the Fail Mary and ending with the lay-down to ensure the result in the next year's NFC title game, WWE-style -- that even Mick Foley could see was pro wrestling-inspired?
- Where's the Super Bowl the year they had the #1 seed and lost to the Giants?
- How about the nice Tom Brady job they did for the Buccaneers in the same circumstance?
- And why did it get so bad yesterday that even BRADY, THE single biggest beneficiary of NFL refereeing shenanigans for almost two decades!, could identify the problem?
Looks like we have at least three red flags for Week Seven so far...
- Detroit-Green Bay
- San Francisco-Atlanta To tell the 49ers to knock their shit off.
- And this out of the Sunday nighter -- which was the first game in the entire career of Patrick Mahomes that they did not get to the red zone. Check out these betting numbers. Hmmmm....

2026 Week Seven Political Rankings
After Further Review: Are you getting the hint yet, Packer Fan?
PS: That's Roughing the Passer. That late, treat the quarterback like you do the referees. ANY contact is 15. The rule is forcible unnecessary, and that qualifies. The Green Bay Packers Have Been Absolutely Robbed Tonight By The Officials. Multiple Botched Roughing The Passer Calls. A Horrible Intentional Grounding Call. By Far The Worst Officiated Game I've Ever Seen In My Entire Life. If I Was Green Bay, Win Or Lose, I'd Contact The NFL And Ask For An Investigation Into These Refs. It Hasn't Been More Obvious Than This, And Not Just This Week. It's Been Going On For Weeks. Something Is Going On. 🚨

This one's closer to a straight Josh Jacobs rig-job. The only call I could think giving on that is if and only if there were head contact.Tom Brady has had enough with the officiating. "My goodness. What is that?" "There's no way!" "It's definitely not roughing the passer." https://t.co/a0JlJUylJM
— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) October 25, 2026
And, according to this angle produced by a Lions fan, there's a nonzero chance they may be right!I hate to break it to Tom Brady, Dean Blandino, and Packers fans, but this looks like contact to the head/neck area to me. https://t.co/4nHjSmP26y
— Jeremy Reisman (@DetroitOnLion) October 26, 2026
That should be fined Saturday. Damn near spearing, too.Completely leaves his feet not even trying to make real tackle. The league is putting an emphasis on making sure the Packers don't get any personal foul calls https://t.co/6pu103t9YO
— Real Quarterbacking™ Enjoyer (@Ferd_Turgeson) October 25, 2026
And the wrong one was called intentional grounding.Guess which one was called intentional grounding? https://t.co/fYtAPPhf4H

Here's several more...These two instances exists in the same universe… can you believe it? @NFL @NFLOfficiating #rigged https://t.co/J1rEOcf57h
— kayd (@ckayder) October 26, 2026
And if you're going to flag that, that's an ejection foul.Ref spazzes out and throws a flag from the ground after tripping over Amon-Ra 🤣 They need to buzz in and fix this shit from New York. https://t.co/qgI6zLxQ9e
— Kurt Benkert (@KurtBenkert) October 25, 2026
And LaFleur had to shut up, or he loses a quarter million..@NFLOfficiating hasn’t tweeted in three years, which at this point feels like the last time any group of them had a clean game. Being allowed to grab and restrict the receiver from extending his arm to catch the ball is about as big an advantage as you can give a defender. https://t.co/Ze2m6wdwMb
