Couple of odds and ends for October 27, 2026

• Malik Beasley has pled guilty to sports bribery, two counts of wire fraud, and money laundering.  Now, NBA, investigate how many games this guy actually fixed -- I can assure you the number is NOT zero.   
• More disturbing Pat McAfee news...  First, he did not have a good experience with the University of Utah at College Gameday when they had a top-15 matchup with Houston.  Vows never to return after their Instagram account slammed him and he said the kid who got the million-dollar field goal challenge bitched it wasn't three!
• But that's not the most disturbing part.  After the Charlie Kirk shooting, which McAfee has made reference to several times, the FBI has actually proposed McAfee start wearing a bulletproof vest when he goes on campuses.  This has been in force the better part of a year now.
