It's bad enough about Gardner-Johnson getting suspended, but word this morning that the league has also suspended special-teams captain Sam Franklin Jr. for the same spitting offense, this one late in the game.
This is also multiple league sanctions this year, including, like Gardner-Johnson, a strike against the Points of Emphasis, his for a blindside block.
The Bills have their bye week this week. The suspensions will be served in a home game against Baltimore November 1. Pre-week odds on Draft Kings have Baltimore a 2.5 point underdog.
