I would not say this ill-advisedly, especially because I often actively root against the United States so that needed reforms of the Olympic movement across the board are forced.

That said, I cannot ignore this one.

72nd minute, women's soccer semifinal.  Scoreless USA (in White) and Canada (in Red).

No call is made initially, and it looks like a goal kick for the United States.

But the Video Assistant Referee wants another look at the contact...

Canada's #6 comes flying into the box to attempt to seize possession from the American #12, bumps into her and appears to push her, and she goes down.

Gets the penalty from the VAR, converted, and the USA is eliminated 1-0.

Gee, YOU THINK SOMEONE IS SICK OF THE UNITED STATES YET IN THESE OLYMPICS?
