A Game Which Should Not Take Place At All, And Not Just Because of the Mismatch

Imagine this...

You're Charleston Southern.  You're going to be one of those Sacrificial Lambs that's going to go to Florida State, get 60 hung on you for recruits to FSU, and pick up a nice fat paycheck out the door.

Now imagine, according to CBS Sports, that you've now had to suspend 32 players for book sale violations, and that more suspensions and penalties may be forthcoming!!!

(14 will sit the Florida State game.  16 sat Charleston Southern's opener.  2 more will sit another game later in the season.)

Time to forfeit.  Sometimes, I'd say that when a team is staring 75-0 or so in the face.

The fact is:  Your football program is basically out of institutional control, whether it is just the players acting independently or not.

You don't deserve that money, nor that place on FSU's schedule -- you do them no favors by playing this game except recruit visits.

Forfeit.  NOW.
