  • Bob Fescoe, a Kansas City radio host, says he's been told by "NFL sources" that this year's proposed neutral-site AFC Championship Game between the Chiefs and Bills is a test run for making the arrangement permanent.
  • And the announcement today is that, if the game is necessary, it will be held in Atlanta.
  • Former ESPN reporter Allison Williams and producer Beth Faber are suing Disney and ESPN -- they claim they had religious objections to the COVID vaccines and were denied the waivers.
  • 1979 Heisman winner Charles White of USC has passed away.  Cancer at 64.
  • Damar Hamlin is now raising money through T-shirts, etc. for the Cincinnati Trauma Center -- giving back to those who saved his life.
  • A Madden 23 celebration is being deleted because of current sensibilities.  The celebration where the ball-carrier scoring falls to the ground and is fake-CPR'd is being removed from the game.
  • As of 2 AM Eastern Time Thursday of last year's AGDQ:  $1,072,055.
  • This year?  $831,137.  About a 24% or $240,000 difference.
  • Kevin Harvick is retiring at the end of the next NASCAR season.
  • Derek Carr IS officially done in Vegas.
  • So is Trevor Bauer in LA.  Officially released today.
  • Speaking of Vegas, investigation into an MMA coach and his ties to an offshore sportsbook.  He has been suspended from MMA as part of a large-scale investigation into his gambling ties and a betting scandal in the UFC.
