Mike Mayock can pack his bags, and so can that Saints lawyer...

Updates.  Have several, including the near-complete defeat of Vic Mignogna in court today (that will get it's own post)

  • Jon Gruden has said Antonio Brown WILL play Monday night.

It has been made no secret in the joke the Raiders have become their final couple years in Oakland that this is Jon Gruden's team -- he has made numerous personnel decisions (the most controversial one is removing actual NFL MVP Khalil Mack and letting him go to the Bears) to shape the team in his own image, whatever the cost.

Well, now it's going to be showdown between GM Mike Mayock and Gruden.  If Mayock is forced to bend, he will be forced to leave.

Stay tuned.

  • As I predicted here, the state lawsuit in Louisiana against the NFL for rigging the NFC Championship game was finally thrown out today.
Get it through your heads, America!!

IT IS LEGAL FOR AN AMERICAN SPORTS LEAGUE TO RIG IT'S OWN GAMES FOR IT'S OWN PURPOSES.

The Louisiana Supreme Court affirmed that today, citing Mayer v. Belichick, New England Patriots, and National Football League as precedent, as I thought that someone finally would!
