The total number of possible fine incidents, at least from on-field conduct, appears to be about 45.
The Ndakumong Suh incident, a low block on a defenseless player in an unnecessary situation, has received supplementary attention.
The Clay Matthews hit has NOT. (Boo.)
According to FOX Sports, the six previous incidents (this is #7 for Suh) over Suh's three seasons in the league have cost Suh $243,147.
This one, according to ESPN sources today, just docked Ndakumong Suh ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS.
That is the first six-figure fine known that does not accompany a suspension for Player Safety. (That may be the first six-figure fine for Player Safety at all!)
Too bad it's not remotely sufficient.
To me, Ndakumong is at Level 2 on accumulative penalties as far as Player Safety goes. That should've had a four-game suspension.
