If the NFL is not going to take it seriously, how can anyone else?

I'd have to go back and see if this is an NFL record...

Rex Ryan and the New York Jet Animal House are at it again...

Two Jets (initial reports had it three) were ejected from tonight's 13-10 loss.

There are YEARS that three NFL players don't get ejected/disqualified.

We've already had three tosses in 17 games (and that doesn't count Clay Matthews, who should've been...).

And they all came from the same incident.

Big scuffle after the game-clinching interception, and three Jets get flagged.

Geno Smith is picked off by Talib of the Patriots, and, after a moment, skitters out of bounds when Nick Mangold, the center for the Jets, cuts him low.  Flag #1.  Deliberate shot at his knee...  That's going to cost him big.

Then all Hell breaks loose.

About 15 seconds later, we get a scrum.

During the scrum, Willie Colon shoved an official.  GONE.

D'Brickashaw Ferguson threw a punch.  GONE.

This game should've been terminated with prejudice at that point.

And it's the freaking Jets again.  When is the league going to suspend Rex Ryan?  We need a six-figure fine against the Jets for their conduct in the scrum -- as well as suspensions for at least Mangold and Colon.  The Jets and the Lions are (currently) the two most out-of-control teams in the league.

Time to stop it -- now.

Fine Blotter for Week 1 later today.
