North Dallas Thugboys: It's upheld, BUT...

The six-game suspension was upheld for Ezekiel Elliot, so, as of the moment, Jerry Jones can write that half-million dollar fine check to the league for the second straight year.

The problem, though, is the NFL concedes that the timing of the announcement of the arbitrator's decision makes it infeasible for him to be suspended Week 1 -- conveniently, a Sunday Night marquee game with the Giants.

So, as of right now, with the restraining order to be ruled on for Friday, Elliot plays this week and then comes back in Week 9.
