Something a bit under the radar...
WADA, the World Anti-Doping Agency, has had two sets of what they refer to as "wild allegations" as to widespread cheating on track and field doping tests, according to a Yahoo! article yesterday.
ARD Broadcasting of Germany and The Sunday Times in the UK both have reported that they received information that indicates a third of the medals won in Olympics and World Championships endurance races between 2001-2012 were dirty.
This now makes four such allegations, as WADA and the IAAF (track and field's governing body worldwide) were also researching similar allegations with Russian athletes.

Welcome to about 1990, ARD and Sunday Times.
That two-thirds of the medals were won cleanly in these disciplines would make it far cleaner than most of the rest of track and field!
This is the sport that, during the Ben Johnson investigation, a prominent scientist stated the absolute ceiling for a male 100m runner to run clean would be about 11 seconds.
It is the opinion of many learned people that the only way track and field survives is by massive doping.
One would have to wonder which is the dirtier sport: Track and field, or cycling.
Both are still on the Olympic program, but baseball is not -- and that was largely due to drugs.
I get criticized by my friends for going into what I call "Captain Obvious Mode".
This report IS "Captain Obvious Mode".
