Week 13 Fine Blotter: Another $200K down the drain...

  • Oakland Raiders: FOUR-TIME LOSER Richard Seymour: $30,000 for the punch and ejection. (For the FOURTH fine he's been given from the league this season?)\
  • Green Bay Packers: TWO-TIME LOSER Charles Woodson: $15,000 for a hit on Eli Manning. (For a second offense?)\
  • Philadelphia Eagles: Trent Cole: $7,500 for unnecessary roughness.
  • Detroit Lions get three from their sorry display against New Orleans (and should've gotten at least another): TWO-TIME LOSER Nate Burleson: $7,500 for a flagrant facemask.
  • and TWO-TIME LOSER Brandon Pettigrew: $25,000 for making contact with the referee and getting tossed.
  • and Stefan Logan: $7,500 for unsportsmanlike conduct
  • Houston Texans: Antonio Smith: $15,000 for a hit on the quarterback.
  • Dallas Cowboys: Shawn Chapas: $20,000 for a blindside defenseless hit.
  • New York Giants: Mathias Kiwanuka: $7,500 for unnecessary roughness.
  • New England Patriots: Jared Mayo: $25,000 for a hit on the Colts QB. (why the extra $5,000?)
  • Miami Dolphins: Cam Wake: $15,000 for a hit on the Raiders QB in the head.
  • and Richie Incognito: $7,500 for a late hit
  • St Louis Rams: Jerius Norwood: $7,500 for a chop block.
  • San Francisco 49'ers: Ahmad Brooks: $15,000 for roughing the passer.
That's $205,000 this week, and I can think of two players on this list of fourteen who got off awfully easy, and at least one who wasn't on this list similarly so.
