And we called this piece of crap in the SECOND QUARTER!

My friend and I were talking this afternoon, and, for laughs, we decided to keep an eye on Denver-Minnesota. I was wrong on one thing: They scripted that thing to a T!

When we saw the game as 12-7 to Minnesota, we both looked at each other and said, "Here we go!" That was about midway through the SECOND QUARTER.

I just want you to take a look at the same stuff we saw on Gamecast when we picked it up mid-third quarter:

Minnesota scores a touchdown in the third quarter to get it to 22-14 in their favor.
  • Long kickoff return
  • One play, Tebow TD pass, 22-21.

So then, into the fourth, Minnesota gets another touchdown to get to 29-21.

  • Kickoff return that the kicker had to stop
  • 42 yard Tebow pass
  • McGahee 24 yards for the TD
  • Tebow for the conversion. 29-29.

Then, Minnesota gets a field goal, after stalling out that it seemed they couldn't be stopped until they got in the red zone. 32-29, about 3 minutes to go, 3 time outs for Denver.

  • Touchback on the kickoff.
  • Incomplete
  • 12 yard Tebow pass for the first down
  • 40 yard Tebow pass to get in field-goal position
  • 4 yard run
  • Drive peters out, field goal, 32-32 with a minute and a half left.

Then you need to see the next play from scrimmage for Minnesota. It's up on NFL.com now.

Christian Ponder throws one of the most inexplicable interceptions I have ever bloody seen! He throws 2-on-4, and it appears he overthrows his one receiver by five yards and underthrows the other by the same amount!

Result: Right into the arms of the Denver defender, first down to Denver at the 15.

Five plays later, after burning all of Minnesota's time outs, the field goal is good, the Tebows are 6-1, and the Broncos are tied for the division lead at 7-5.

They're scripting this so obviously, I'm laughing at people as I type this.
