Colin Kaepernick has ended his National Anthem protests.
He's getting blasted by the likes of JT The Brick on JT's local Bay Area show -- and, on surface, it would appear hypocrisy as a matter of keeping his job. There was a lot of talk the 49ers were going to cut him.
But do not, in any way, fool yourself.
There can be no mistake: This is on orders from the National Football League -- that you will be a good patriotic shill and stand for the NFL's country, or you will not play in this league.
White America, the only demographic still supporting football as much or more than they used to, ordered it and convinced the league that they were staying away to protest the un-American African-American demanding his rights and making a statement.
First learned about a lot of the protests not only on racist websites like Breitbart, but also following Twitter to keep track of the fines.
The facts, here, are simple: You either toe the league line or you're gone. And Kaepernick was about to be gone. He will stand, under duress, because he is little more than the plantation slave most White America sees Black football players as.
