Who could not have seen THAT coming?
Baltimore leaves points on the field three times, as if they are designing for exactly what went down.
Not a Hail Mary this time, but a possible Stanford-Cal at the end goes awry, and the Ravens win it.
Good riddance to this football season.
The House ALWAYS Wins. Even at 28-6, they get the game to be decided on the last play!
That was by far one of the most rigged Super Bowls I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteYou were right man, you were right on the money. The NFL made sure they sent their murderer and thug role model Ray Lewis out the door with another ring. Not to mention it was the season Art Modell died, so I'm sure they'll run that in the ground too.
All night long, the Ravens O-line was holding, and they did not get the first call. Not to mention the calls they got on 3rd downs to keep the drives alive.
4th and Goal for the Niners, and the Ravens jumped off side, and they were holding and not to mention the obvious pass interference in the endzone NO CALL AT ALL.
This was the most rigged Super Bowl since the Steelers in 2005. Just like Bettis, they made sure they sent Ray Lewis out with a ring. Makes you fucking sick as a fan too. The Niners got screwed very very bad on that 4th and Goal. All game long the Ravens got every single call. They benefited big time on the calls too.
They didn't get _every_ call.
DeleteMade reference to one that left points on the table for Baltimore -- Baltimore receiver gets held, illegal contacted -- announcers see it, no flags.
Well that's one, so I was wrong there, but that 4th and Goal for S.F., that will never be forgotten. That was obvious holding, not to mention they jumped off sides before the play snapped, and then the pass interference in the endzone was huge, I wasn't shocked though that it wasn't called. Watching this game I had a feeling they'd make sure they sent Lewis out with another ring. Like you say, every Super Bowl since the Rams/Titans one, there has been something real fishy in them.
ReplyDeleteI go into more detail with a longer post. The entire game, when you step back and outside the Biblical reverence Americans have for football, this WAS the most scripted Super Bowl (both teams being involved)...
DeleteAbout the closest I can give to it would be the farcical Seattle-Pittsburgh "game"...
