I had a Super Bowl prediction, and it is about to change...

The Green Bay Packers are about to sign one of the more infamous members of my upcoming "53 Players Who Have No Place in the NFL" list:  Cedric Benson.

If the Packers need Benson to be relevant as a running counter-threat, then, between him and three guys that the Pack has who are suspended (one for Bounty-Gate, one apparently for drug policy, and one for personal conduct), I'm prepared to find another NFC team to select.

  1. I agree, I'm old school with football even though the refs are making it a pro-passing league. Here's the secret about football Michael: The turnover rate is much higher through the air than it is on the ground and to me a turnover is the most IMPORTANT stat in the NFL. Rodgers throws twice as many INT's in even years too (I'm a numerologist) so I would stay away from Green Bay. Even though it is the 12 Packers (worked for Drew Brees wearing #9 in 09).

    1. You're right, but that's not the reason I'm staying away from GB now.

In the business of the National Football League, especially with the concussion lawsuits and the criticisms regarding player conduct, Roger Goodell is going to want to give the Super Bowl trophy to a team which represents the league.

Think of it as like a professional wrestling league: The champion represents the league. With the one guy on Bountygate, the one guy on drug conduct, the one guy on personal conduct, and now signing Benson, you really think the Green Bay Packers are going to represent this league well as champions?

More and more, I think this might finally be the year the Patriots are set to 19-0 to elevate Brady and Beli-cheat to that elite status.
