• Santiago Gimenez won it with an 88th minute goal.
• The summer teams of the Cavaliers and Rockets will play off for the NBA Summer League Championship.
• There is a stressed unconfirmed report of a surface temperature of sixty degrees Celsius, 140 Fahrenheit, in Spain.  The verified world record is in Death Valley at 56.7 Celsius or about 134 Fahrenheit in 1913.
