- Three days left in the Fantasy Faire on Second Life for the Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society. Just crossed the $70,000 plateau. The auctions tomorrow and the big rave Monday to close it out.
- The Derby field is now 18 -- as widely speculated, a foot injury has forced morning-line favorite Forte to scratch, becoming the sixth horse to scratch from today's Triple Crown race.
- Sounds like Glen Kuiper, a Bay Area baseball institution, may be done. He's working the A's, and apparently made a racial slur last night, for which he apologized. No word on if there was a long fly to left, and no, the A's were not playing the team Nick Castellanos is playing for.
- Two more horses put down on the Kentucky Derby Day card, both with leg injuries. That's seven now.
- 17-1 shot Mage finally won. All 18 starting horses made it over the line.
- Mattress Mack made Angel of Empire the betting favorite with a $1.2 million bet on the horse. Finished third, but charging hard, ran out of room.
- At the start of this weekend, Oakland was 6-26, Kansas City 8-24. They play three this weekend in KC, Oakland won the first.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
