- Draymond Green: SUSPENDED for Game 3. And can make his summer vacation plans within a week or so. The NBA has HAD IT with the Warriors' bullshit.
- The annual anonymous Overrated/Underrated NBA players' poll is out.
- Overrated:
- Trae Young of Atlanta is the most overrated player in the league. Almost 15% of the players polled said he was overrated, even though he was 14th in the league at over 26 points a game and 3rd in the league at just over 10 assists a game.
- Knicks Julius Randle is second, at about half that percentage. 19th in the league at 25.1 points a game, 11th in the league at 10 rebounds a game.
- Toronto's Pascal Siakam had the same percentage as Randle. 26th in the league at 24.2 points a game, shoots under 50% FG to get there.
- Jimmy Butler of the Heat was #4. 33rd in the league at just under 23 points a game, not much else.
- Rudy Gobert of the Timberwolves was #5. 3rd in the league in field-goal percentage, 5th in the league in rebounds.
- Underrated:
- Jrue Holliday of Milwaukee won the honor as the most underrated player in the league. In the shadow of Giannis, a lot of people get that idea.
- Mikal Bridges of Brooklyn was second.
- Jayden McDaniels of Minnesota was third.
- Jaylen Brown of Boston was fourth.
- De'Aaron Fox of Sacramento was fifth.
- Sports Illustrated noted all five players had key roles in getting their teams to the playoffs.
- MVPs: Joel Embiid and Nokola Jocic.
- Greatest of all time? Foolish and Wretched Ballhog.
- CFK did it again. Clayton Kershaw against the Mets tonight: 7 innings, 9 K's, three hits. And for those who honor the stat: 200th win of his career. Only four active pitchers have reached 200, none have reached 250. Only Adam Wainwright is in shouting distance at 195.
- Only 17 even have 100.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
