• As largely expected, Mike Leach passed away overnight in the hospital.
• Mississippi State University will play in it's January 2, 2023 bowl game with Illinois, and honor Coach Leach in so doing.
• Sigh.  Foolish and wretched one-dimensional ballhog Michael Jordan just got the NBA MVP award named after him.
• Atlanta's Marcus Mariota has been benched for performance, and will be put in injured reserve for his knee -- but more disturbing is, after that determination was made, Mariota left the Falcons and they are not sure "when or if" he will return.  He's done in Atlanta.
