- If things go as I fear they will this week, you might get your answer to that cryptic post I made about a month ago real soon. The situation still stands.
- Turn your clocks back this morning. Daylight Savings ends.
- Aaron Carter apparently drowned in his bathtub.
- Andy Taylor, guitarist for Duran Duran, stage 4 prostrate cancer. The band announced it at their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A letter published by the band from Taylor has said he's had it since 2018, but some life-extending therapy has kept it going awhile.
- DRX defeated T1 for the League of Legends World Championship in San Francisco in a legendary 3-2 final. In a nail-biting Game 5, two members of T1 went for a base run with a significant positional advantage, but were denied by DRX, who cut through the map and T1 could not resurrect in time.
- Speaking of world championships, the Assholes have done it again, 4 games to 2.
- Mattress Mack made SEVENTY-FIVE MILLION DOLLARS from all the suckers who thought Rob Manfred wasn't a dick.
- $250,000 fine, again, for LSU incoming: Brian Kelly did a gut check in overtime with Alabama, went for the 2, and won 32-31 in the Saturday Night Showdown... And they won't keep them off the field tonight either.
- ... meaning that the SEC title game appears to be LSU vs. Georgia, with both teams well-positioned toward advancement to the national CFP. Georgia beat Tennessee 27-13.
- During his match with Roman Reigns in Saudi Arabia, Logan Paul tore an MCL and a meniscus and possibly his ACL as well!
- Ty Gibbs won the XFinity championship yesterday, after wrecking out his teammate the week before.
- His father Coy passed away this morning in his sleep.
- Joe, Coy's father, has now lost both of his sons -- the other of degenerative neurological disease. Both were 49.
- Joey Logano is the NASCAR top-division champion for this season -- his second top-division title.
- Perhaps a small glimmer of a comeback in the Politicals for Tom Brady -- the first NFL quarterback to throw for 100,000 combined yards in the regular season and playoffs. And a last-drive win over the Rams. And 4-5 now leading the NFC South.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
