- Better Days Ahead
- But not for Jalen Kitna, son of former NFL'er Jon and backup at the University of Florida -- arrested today on child porn charges, possession and distribution.
- Or Mickey Joseph, interim coach of Nebraska. Arrested today on suspicion of assault. Domestic incident.
- Under the Jeopardy! radar after the five-week Tournament of Champions is current ultrachamp (the show's 15th) Cris Pannullo -- 18 wins, $637,923, an average of almost $35,000 a win! Pannullo is the eighth highest winner in the history of the program, fifth highest in regular play behind the show's four regular-play millionaires. (He passed Mattea on Monday.)
- Current projections by analyst Andy Saunders have Pannullo becoming the show's next millionaire! Average projected streak: 30.
- Today was the 18th anniversary of two major show events: First, the airing of Ken Jennings' defeat after 74 wins.
- Second was Saunders and others opening J! Archive, now having over 85% of the entire syndicated series put in. Saunders has, as a goal, every one of the 1980's-present syndicated shows in the archive by the 20th anniversary in two years.
- Big news in college football: It sounds like the Rose Bowl is amenable to the new 12-team CFP setup -- could start in two years.

Like I used to do out of my parents' restaurant in Minnesota with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Rock used to steal Snickers bars from a 7/11 near where he lived in Hawaii. Today, as a symbolic gesture, he went to the same store, and bought every Snickers they had!
- Tragic day for a music legend: Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac has passed. She was 79.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
