- Looks like the losing streak has the Carolina Panthers panicking -- Cam Newton is back. That didn't take long!!!
- It looks like the NBA might want some words with the New Orleans Pelicans. Their coach certainly did -- four players picked up five technicals in just the second quarter last night in an eight-point loss. The team is 1-11, and it's clear there are some definite control issues with the team. I am not 100% certain, but I do believe that number of technicals is a team fine in the NBA -- not clear how much... Checking the NBA rulebook, it appears this is not the case, though I would not be surprised if additional fines weren't assessed than the standard $2000 per technical + $2000 for the ejection for the players.
- The first casualty is about to be Executive VP of Basketball Operations David Griffin.
It appears Odell Beckham Jr. wants headlines -- he's going to wait until after Week 10 to select a team.- It appears that Odell believes the league is rigging the NFC Super Bowl spot for the Los Angeles Rams. Word this afternoon is, that's where he's headed. He's wrong....
- Bob Murray has resigned as the GM of the Anaheim Ducks -- and entering alcohol rehab.
- The newest CFP expansion model is a 12-team model with guaranteed slots for each Power 5 champion and the Group of 5 best team. This I can live with... It gives the Go5 a path.
- Two (or some Dolphin fans report THREE in the first half!!!) blatant DPI no-calls to try to bail out the Ravens in Miami tonight. They trail 6-3 at halftime.
- OH MY GOD, THEY'RE DOING IT AGAIN. Three bullshit calls on a drive that gets Baltimore within 15-10... This has got the Pittsburgh game written all over it.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
