- From Yahoo!: "International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach said on Thursday there was "zero" risk of Games participants infecting Japanese residents with COVID-19, as cases hit a six-month high in the host city. Risk for the other residents of Olympic village and risk for the Japanese people is zero." Wow. Just... WOW.
- The WNBA All-Star Game was last night, and the WNBA (non-Olympic) All Stars defeated Team USA 93-85 -- Sue Bird admitting that Team USA hasn't gelled yet. The WNBA now goes dormant during the Games.
- Bradley Beal is now off Team USA for the coronavirus contact tracing, and it sounds like Jerami Grant is going to join him -- he's now in the contact tracing program too!
